Make Life Skate Life A non-profit organization working to create community-built skateparks around the world Make Life Skate Life is a non-profit organization founded in 2013.

We collaborate with skateboarding communities around the world, connecting them with professional skatepark builders to create community-built skateparks. The skatepark projects we have completed in India, Bolivia, Jordan, Myanmar, and Ethiopia have been successful through local community involvement from start to finish, providing local communities with the tools, materials, knowledge, and inspir

ation to create their own projects. The professional skatepark builders that volunteer on Make Life Skate Life projects donate their time and skills, not only to create a skatepark, but to share their knowledge in the art of skatepark construction with skateboarding communities around the world. We ensure that all of our projects remain sustainable through the establishment of free of charge on-site skateboarding and safety equipment loaner systems, run by local partner organizations, allowing all children free access to skateboarding, regardless of their economic standing.

After 10 years Addis Skatepark is no longer 🇪🇹

Although we did everything in our hands to prevent this from happening. We would have preferred for the park to remain, but at the same time, we’re extremely proud of and what they’ve been able to achieve.

Addis Skatepark created new skateboarders, made skateboarding accessible to young Ethiopians, and inspired them to build more parks. We were part of shaping that generation and helping them pursue their goal and we can’t be more grateful 🙏🏼

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped but the park and everyone who donated to our Addis Skatepark campaign 10 years ago, your contribution has changed lives.
