Dear Rotarians and Rotaractors,
Good evening.
As we draw closer to the close of the year 2025, I extend my sincere appreciation to all Rotarians of District 9213 for the remarkable progress we have achieved together.
We have attained 60% of our planned giving target to The Rotary Foundation.
I encourage each member to consider making a Christmas gift of USD 100 to the foundation, which will enable us to fully achieve our goal. Our membership has also grown by nearly 300 new members, representing 40% of our target.
I urge clubs to continue recruiting and mentoring members, aiming for a net growth of at least ten new members per club.
Following this growth, we commenced the reorganization process of our district into two new districts. I am pleased to report that members overwhelmingly voted in favor of continuing this process.
In this Rotary Year of Uniting for Good, we strengthened partnerships with several organizations to enhance the reach and impact of our service projects. These collaborations have contributed to significant humanitarian achievements, including medical outreach to over 6,000 patients in West Nile, cataract surgeries for more than 240 elderly persons, life-saving heart surgeries for children under the Little Hearts Project, and over USD 2 million in grant approvals and utilization.
Through the campaign, our district has demonstrated the power of coordinated service, visibility, and storytelling in transforming lives across our communities.
As we celebrate the festive season and look ahead to 2026, I encourage all members to remain focused, united, and energized. Together, we can achieve and surpass our targets. I look forward to celebrating our collective achievements with over 1,800 registered participants at the District Conference in April 2026.
I wish all Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
