ServeDirect works in Uganda through its partner Serve Direct Uganda Ltd. Our main focus of work is targeted in Lukomera, Luwero district, central Uganda and in Gulu in northern Uganda. In Lukomera we work with 3 locally run projects;

Wobulenzi Town Academy. WTA is a secondary school for 600+students registered to work with orphans and vulnerable chidren. A library and resource centre to assist al

l the local primary schools and their students. The Rock Health Centre. A health and education centre for the benefit of the students attending WTA and the wider local community. In Gulu we work with a larger regional Connect Education Centre that is also base to READ for Life - an NGO working in the district to improve the literacy in all primary schools within the area. The impact of the Connect Education Centres has proved to be extensive, as there are assisting over 125 schools with resources and teacher training - helping literally tens of thousands of children within the areas they work in. ServeDirect has no paid staff or offices. Currently there are two couples from the UK and Australia based in Uganda working with our projects.
