Cosmas is a 13 year old boy from Uganda who lives with his widowed mother, and siblings. Despite losing his father, Cosmas loves playing football, dancing, Reading, and learning new things. He writes letters in English and does creative Art. Every single morning, young Cosmas wakes up early to walk miles on foot to school. His determination to learn is unwavering, but his reality is heartbreaking.
Cosmas walks those long, rough miles completely barefoot, stepping directly on the hard ground with no shoes. His school uniform is severely torn and full of holes, barely holding together. Yet, despite these daily hurdles, Cosmas never gives up on his education.
No child should have to fight this hard just to sit in a classroom. We are rallying together to lift the burden off this bright young boy's shoulders, and he needs our help today.
