Prepared. Empowered. Ready for School!
Yesterday, 6th February 2026, RUFI Uganda, in partnership with Teens Outreach Foundation, successfully held a Pre-Term Adolescent Day—and the energy was incredible! Thank you our sponsors.
This was all about adolescents for a confident, healthy, and stress-free school term. Through the youth-friendly sessions, participants took part in:
❖ Sexual & Reproductive Health talks led by trained experts
❖ Menstrual hygiene sessions – making, using, and caring for reusable sanitary pads
❖ Distribution of reusable pads to adolescent girls (enough to last a full year!)
❖ Peer-to-peer learning, sharing experiences and encouragement
& fun, because learning is better when it’s joyful
The impact was clear: the adolescents left informed, confident, and fully prepared for the new school term. For the girls, the reusable sanitary pads mean one full year without worry, shame, or missed school days.
This is what happens when communities come together to invest in young people.
