Last weekend saw the final sessions of our free bike handling sessions for girls from our development group. We hope that these girls now feel confident with operating a mountain bike - next step will be to move into the hills!

Great to see members of our community gaining confidence with their bike handling and experiencing the sense of freedom that cycling brings.

At we continue our pledge to offer free cycling lessons to girls and women within our community.

DAMALI:
I had been looking for an activity to keep me busy but also fit during my free time. I met Charlotte and she told me more about what she does and what the organization is offering to the community. That is when something from deep down my heart awakened and I said to myself I should learn how to ride now I have the chance which hardly comes by. I had for a very long time desired riding a sports bike but neither did I have the skill nor someone to teach me. I was introduced to Ernest ( mechanic) and since then I have been learning how to ride three times a week. I can say, given the 2 weeks of training so far, I have learnt several skills to do with biking and my trainer Ernest tells me I'm already 30% through.

It all started with passion!
