Brass for children is a Music Based CBO established on the edges of Bwindi Forest in Kanungu, Western Uganda. Currently, we have over 50 beneficiaries, But 125 kids total served since 2020. We are dedicated on Empowering children and Youths with music skills to develop their God’s Given gifts and talents for brighter Futures.

Our mission is to help children and youths through love and joy of music in Butogota

However, our ability to continue inspiring and training young people costs money: teachers, music materials, preparation, and instruments repairs. That is why we are asking for your help. With your contribution, you help us make this possible and continue giving free music lessons.

In the city of Butogota in western Uganda, Atukunda Gershom has set up a great project: musical instruments are provided to children from the very simplest backgrounds – they receive lessons and the opportunity to play music together, as well as, if possible, some food.

These young people are involved with incredible joy and enthusiasm, and Mr. Gershom truly deserves every possible support for his fantastic work!

Therefore, we are pleased to announce that on May 3, 2026 at 5 pm we will be holding a concert in the Church of the Redeemer in Bamberg, the proceeds of which will go entirely to benefit "BUTOGOTA BRASS FOR CHILDREN" in Uganda.
