Dear Family,

Our dear son Jovan has ever gone through ureteroscopy, and we want to thank every friend and sponsors who stood with us. Jovan is recovering and we are full of gratitude.

As we celebrate this, we are also still working on our goat fence farm. We have started, but we still have a long way to go to complete it.

At Hofu Children’s Home, we are reaching out with urgent needs:

1. A VAN FOR EMERGENCIES
In recent months we have experienced multiple medical emergencies. Without reliable transport, delays put our children’s lives at risk.
A van will also be used for school transport and receiving visitors who support us.

2. MONTHLY SPONSORS
We still need committed monthly sponsors to help provide food, education, healthcare, and care for our children consistently or help us with our school.

3. EVENT & FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS

Urgent + Direct
URGENT APPEAL: Help Us Fence Our Goats!🐐🚨

Friends, we are SO close to finishing.

At Hofu Children’s Home, we’ve already planted all the poles for our goat fence. The biggest part is done 90%.

We’re now remaining with just 20 rolls of barbed wire.
But our goats are escaping and eating our neighbors’ crops each day. It’s causing big problems and compensation costs we can’t afford.

Need:20 rolls of barbed wire
Cost: UGX 250,000 x 20 = UGX 6,000,000

We need to finish this fence very soon to protect our goats and keep peace with our neighbors.

Now we are crying tears of joy.

1. Sanitary pad materials- Our trained girls are now sewing their own pads whenever they get to the period and when they have worn out pads.
2. Flip flops - No more barefoot children in the rain for infection.
3. Medicine & First Aid supplies- We can treat coughs and fever early

Heartfelt + Urgent
Our Children Need You This Rainy Season 🌧️💜

At Hofu Children’s Home, the rain has come — and with it, new needs.

1. Flip flops - UGX 810,000ugx
Our children are walking almost barefoot with old holed flip flops in mud and puddles. We need flip flops to protect their feet from infections and cold this rainy season.

2. Sanitary Pad Materials - UGX 2,500,000ugx
Our girls are fully trained and ready to sew their own reusable pads! 🎉 But the materials we used for learning were spoilt during the learning process but this is usual fpr any learning student. Now they need more materials to sew with care and dignity for life.

3. First Aid Tables - URGENT - 800,000ugx
Children are sneezing and getting sick. Our first aid table is over. This is where we start treatment to stop malaria and other illnesses before they get worse.

This is what love in action looks like.
