We aren't meant to live a life of excess. While it is good to have wealth and material possessions, we should rather commit these things to helping those who are in need instead of accumulating things we know we won't use. Giving is part of being a Christian and it is always best to give to those who are in need. Your life will serve as an example to others on how to live in moderation.

Let Jesus speak through you. Step out and be a blessing to someone. Do you know, you don't have to be rich to be a blessing. Some people need you to listen and some need a hug. Some of you may have a dollar. That could help someone today. Some have something simple like a few potatoes. Give them to someone in need. You might have a pencil and maybe someone in need could use a pencil. Do not think you can only be used if you are rich. No way. Be a blessing , no matter where you are. God will use you. Maybe someone needs a cold glass of water, or that old sweater you were just going to throw away. Hallelujah. Be a blessing. Love you all in Christ Jesus.
