Girl Up envisions a world where every girl can reach her full potential. A world where girls lead the way to bigger dreams and happier days, healthier communities and stronger nations. A world where girls are empowered and a future that is better because of them.
Girl Up Uganda has chapters across Uganda. Most are in isolated rural locations where the incidence of poverty is high and opportunities for many girls is limited.
Each chapter undertakes projects and activities that its members have identified as being their priorities - all with the goal of improving conditions for themselves, their peers and all in the community.
