Last week at our street church, we held a boys' mentoring program, reminding them of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11 - 'For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' We also reflected on Hebrews 12:2, focusing on Jesus as the ultimate example of perseverance and faith. It was a great opportunity to encourage and support these young men!

A Father's Fight for Custody

Meet Mr. Sakku Patrick, a special hire driver and single father who has dedicated his life to raising his 9-year-old daughter after her mother's passing when she was just 3 years old.

On December 24, 2024, Mr. Sakku's in-laws requested to take his daughter for a Christmas holiday, which he agreed to, as he had done in the past. However, in a shocking turn of events, his in-laws unlawfully confiscated his daughter and claimed custody.

Determined to reunite with his child, Mr. Sakku reached out to us for help. In partnership with Justice Centers Uganda, we were able to assist him in locating his daughter.

Mr. Sakku's story is a stark reminder of the silent injustices faced by men and fathers, often swept under the carpet. Cases like these fuel our passion to advocate for justice and protect the rights of vulnerable individuals.

Noah has been attending our for the past 3 weeks, & we have witnessed his hunger for spiritual growth & education. However, he is currently facing significant challenges:

- He is eager to enroll in secondary school but lacks the necessary resources.
