Hope Community Action Africa (HCAA) is highly progressive in matters concerning psychosocial support and home-based care to vulnerable individuals and their families. As an organization, we have been able to conduct weekly home visits and follow ups for vulnerable households in Kisoro.

Free counselling services have also been offered to youth living with HIV and their caregivers either in person or on the phone. This has strengthened emotional wellbeing, dignity and resilience among vulnerable households and improved caregiver-child relationships.

By offering support where needed, HCAA continues to nurture hope and build healthier, more sustainable communities.

Hope Community Action Africa (HCAA) continues to make meaningful progress in Kisoro District as we work to improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children and their families. Among our general achievements is starting up youth skills development programs.

HCAA has offered full support to members of Twifatanye Tailoring group by offering sewing machines and materials such as fabrics. With our support, we enable them to transition to independent work. Youth and caregivers can fully embrace self-reliance through a cost recovery ownership model.
