A school uniform may seem simple, but it gives a child dignity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

The photos show part of this journey from learning in everyday clothing to gradually receiving uniforms.

Not all children have uniforms yet, but step by step, we are working toward that goal.

We believe in building not just a safe environment, but a complete and supportive one for all 400 children in our care. We continue working toward ensuring every child is fully equipped for school.

For a long time, our children have walked long distances just to fetch water.
This year, that story can change.

With a completed borehole and a solar-powered pump, ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ง ๐ฐ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐›๐ž ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ giving our children health, dignity, time to learn, and the ability to grow food for their meals.

Last year, we had ๐ง๐จ ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐Ÿ“ ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐›๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐ค and ๐ง๐จ ๐ญ๐จ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ. We were still studying ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ฌ, trusting God to provide. And He did! This year, we believe ๐‡๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐จ ๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง because nothing is too big for Him, even when the need seems overwhelming to us.

Our community school currently has 5 classroom blocks, but we dream of 10 in total so every child has a proper place to learn. Right now, the classrooms we do have face many challenges:

โ€ข ๐๐จ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฌ โ€” during rainy storms, students get wet and classes are often disrupted.
โ€ข ๐ƒ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ โ€” making the learning environment uncomfortable and unhealthy.
โ€ข ๐๐จ ๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ž โ€” teachers and administrators lack a proper place to plan lessons or manage school operations.
โ€ข ๐‹๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฌ โ€” we have to rotate students, which reduces learning time and slows progress.
โ€ข ๐๐จ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌโ€” the lack of doors and windows makes it hard for students to concentrate.

These arenโ€™t just projects theyโ€™re opportunities ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ฌ๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐›๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐š๐ง ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ซ๐ž ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐ž.

We visited some of the children who are part of our school. Each home carries a story, and one in particular deeply touched me.

This woman is a mother of seven children of her own. Yet, years ago, God gave her a vision about a little boy named Joshua a boy whose mother and father struggle with mental illness. At just six months old, Joshua was brought into her arms, and from that day until now, she has raised him as her own. I will share her video testimony soon.

When you look at her living conditions, it would seem impossible for her to take on more responsibility. But love made room. Faith made room. And Joshua found a home.

These are the children we serve. This is the hope our school brings to families and communities. Stories like Joshuaโ€™s remind me why we must keep goingโ€ฆ

On this Day of Thanksgiving

We pause to acknowledge and appreciate every one of youโ€”our sponsors, supporters, partners, prayer warriors, and friends who have stood with us in every way. Your financial, spiritual, and physical support has carried us through seasons where only God could sustain us.

Today, we say thank you.
And above all, we give thanks to the Lord for how far He has brought us.

Theyโ€™ll soon be sitting for their Primary Leaving Examinations our very first class to complete their primary education!

We lovingly call them the big sisters of the little ones.
Some dream of becoming nurses and teachers so they can help their community and our school.
We believe the Lord will make a way for each of them to continue to high school.

There was a time our children had no desks they sat on benches and used their little thighs or the ground to write during exams. We even had no shelter, and they used to write their exams under trees.

Today, by Godโ€™s grace, we have desks and classrooms! Though we still donโ€™t have enough, we bless the Lord for how far He has brought us.

Weโ€™re not yet where we want to be, but thank God weโ€™re not where we used to be!
