The event has been organised by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) in partnership with several partners such as Safe Way Right Way Uganda , CityMove , Fun Cycling Uganda, ITDP, Life Cyclers Uganda, Critical mass Uganda and European Union .

Earlier today, Safe Way Right Way Uganda General Manager Namuyiga Irene participated in a parallel session themed with other key sector players as panelists.
In her discourse, Namuyiga Irene shared her experience with infrastructure and how best it could be redesigned to accommodate powered-two and three-wheelers in those areas with heavy traffic flow.
Additionally, She shared on the strategies employed by Safe Way Right Way Uganda in promoting education and behavioural change of the powered-two ( Boda) and three-wheeler riders in Uganda. This particularly revolved around the (SHU) that is supported by Global Road Safety Partnership.

Earlier today, Safe Way Right Way Uganda General Manager Namuyiga Irene met with Hon.Katumba Wamala, the Minister of Works and Transport in Government of Uganda. During their interaction, Namuyiga Irene updated the Honourable Minister on Safe Way Right Way Uganda's efforts towards the standardisation of helmets for the riders, and the reflection of the standards in the regulations.
Additionally, the General Manager updated the Honourable minister on the progress of the that is in its final stages of competition.
These milestones and activities are a general testament of the importance attached to by Safe Way Right Way Uganda.
