Today at Acadia Suites, CEDOVIP brings together Uganda’s fiercest gender justice advocates for a powerful planning meeting ahead of the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

COGE is proud to stand in solidarity, helping shape strategy, amplify survivor stories, and define bold roles for grassroots and national action.

This year’s theme “Reimagining the role of actors therein: Rising in solidarity, thriving on our stories”—calls us to do more than campaign. It calls us to transform.

From Kampala to the districts, from policy rooms to village gatherings. we are ready. The movement is alive.

Today we mark the International Day of the Girl Child under the theme: “The Girl I Am, the Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis.”

COGE held its 11th annual conference on Oct 7 in Tororo District, a powerful prelude themed “Her Health, Her Wealth, Her Planet.”
