Every day we make hundreds of choices as we go about our lives, but rarely do we think about the effects that those choices have on others – whether they be our neighbors at home, or someone on the other side of the world. Mayo’s Choice Project is an organization which aims to create positive ripple effects around the globe through our everyday decisions. Originating near Kampala, Uganda, MCP aims
to sell products including t-shirts and locally made crafts. A percentage of profits will be donated towards projects that help people in the city and some surrounding villages improve their small business, health, and general welfare. These are communities where a large percentage of people struggle to attain basic resources for everyday life including clean water, adequate food, clothing, or shelter. When you make the choice to support MCP you are supporting much more than a corporation – but the growth of an entire community.
