Springs of Joy-Uganda is a grassroots organization for the benefit of vulnerable and streetkids,in Kampala. It is offering shelter, protection, education and development. Springs of Joy-Uganda currently is active in the slum of Kamwokya and has a large number of over 100 children who always drop in for its activities. We have been able to provide home based tutoring to our beneficiaries with the b

asics of read and write relatively on small scale in order to curb on their illiteracy levels, strength in life, confidence and sense of being valued hence the urge of formal education. Futhermore welfare of the children remains a challenge to the organization due to limited resources especially in terms of medical care, basic necessities i.e. food, blankets, beds name but a few if this area is improved will help the children from dangerous and hostile street environment, crime etc. as we shall have relatively achieved their desired goals in life.

Education remains one of the biggest tool in breaking the poverty cycle.Many of our pupils come from vulnerable families living in difficult conditions,where even basic educational materials such as books,pens,pencils etc.For some children attending school without these necessities has become a daily struggle that affects their academic progress.
Through the support of dear partner EngagePeople and friends,we are bringing the gap through the provision of these materials.
The smiles on the faces of our children,the excitement in their classrooms and the hope restored in thier hearts are a direct result of your generosity.
May the lord continue blessing you abundantly and thank you for believing in them and helping to transform their lives.

After our activities,we come together with a shared purpose,to serve,care and uplift.
Our feeding program continues and while what we offer may simply be one meal a day,sometimes the best we can offer,it carries something far greater,hope,love and compassion.
For some,its the only meal they will have,its a reminder that they are not forgotten.Each cup is shared is a small light in child's day.
The need is still overwhelming but the resources very limited - but we hold on to faith and keep going.
"Who ever is generous to the poor lends to the lord,and He will repay him for his deed".Proverbs 19:17.

Last friday was nothing short of happiness and profound memories.
We were honoured to recieve our dear friend Jilco Voois and his son Jelmar who presence brought so much joy to kids.With hearts full of love reminded us the true values of God in our lives through their deeds and actions.
Our children were overjoyed to receive beautiful gifts that filled the air with laughter,excitement and happiness every day.
Seeing their smiles is a reminder that even the smallest acts of generosity can plant a seed of hope and brighten young hearts.
Moments like this strengthen our faith and remind us we are never alone in this journey.
May God continue to bless and multiply every act of kindness.

We participated in the watoto wasoka Christmas camp in three different age categories under-11,13,15.Our performance was relatively below par this time but we are at nurturing stage.
We received some football scholarships opportunities.
