1. Restoring the lost hope in orphans and vulnerable children by giving them love psychosocial support through counseling and guidance, basic needs and bring them closure.

The blessed foundation Uganda was established in 2010 in Masindi district township 2km badugu road katama cell central division. Five years back the blessed foundation was established by Byakagaba Maureen. After working with several NGOs like the Uganda Red Cross international volunteering with NGO forum Masindi, RDP-Uganda and other charity organizations. After looking at several orphans suffering without proper care and support, youth, women and elderly. These groups of people are very vulnerable and needed a lot of support and care. By 2014 another person joined with Maureen i.e. Barry Noble Mohammed who had similar goals of supporting the needy and care for the orphans and vulnerable children. The two are now working together as directors of the blessed foundation Uganda. The organization has given a lot of people with different needs such as cloths, exercise books, pens, pencils, sanitary pads to girls in primary schools who are orphans. Our target groups include the orphans in government schools, youth in secondary schools, orphans who are preschoolers, children born in prisons, born of mad persons and old women and men. The blessed foundation Uganda started in a community with high school dropouts, unemployment, family stress and breakups, poverty, very limited recreational facilities. The youth form the largest percentage approximately 45percent of the population being under 18 years. living conditions are poor and even worse in the informal settlements with very high residential densities. Housing is basic with many people living in self- constructed dwelling units made of mad and grass there is rampant early marriages due to remoteness of the area, income levels are very low and indicative of the high levels of poverty and dependency rate within the community. Our sites of operations. We so far have managed to cover a big percentage of the deep communities of mirya, kigulya, nyangaya, kitwetwe, and part of pakanyi Sub County and the entire Masindi municipal council. The blessed foundation board of directors comprises of nine directors elected from and by ordinary members of the community, up to two co-opted members as required, on terms and an electected nonvoting staff representative i.e. the CEO and PATRON. Board elects its chair, deputy/vice chair and treasurer. Board meets after 3months it determines how the organization functions.
