Introduction:
Charisma Folk Development Initiative-Uganda (CHAFODI) is a business oriented, non-governmental, non-denominational and not for profit community-based organization formed in 2013 by the sons and daughters of Nyaravur Sub-county, Nebbi district to work for the transformation of the disadvantaged orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), street/idle youth, vacation youth, People Living wit

h HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), FAL women groups, all the marginalized women and men of the nation to have voice and actively participate and engage in activities that better lives and thus our vision is a just and transformed marginalized group of people capable of managing their own well being, health, happiness and prosperity. Legal status:
CHAFODI is a registered community based organization (CBO), registered with the community service department of Nyaravur sub-county lower local government and the district community based service department. Its registered head office is in Angal trading centre and the main area of operation shall be in Nebbi district and will cover the whole of Africa. Objectives:
CHAFODI to successfully achieve its goal which is poverty free members of a society, we have the following objectives to guide it through its discharge:
i. To initiate development skills/vocational trainings and income generating activities for self reliance among members. To empower members engage in sustainable agriculture and hand crafts productivity. To enhance career opportunities to OVCs, youth and improve on health and sanitation of our community. To purchase, acquire and own properties for the organization to support its operations. To build partnership and network with other service providers that can support CHAFODI objectives. To gather documents and disseminate information and experience about factors that shape opportunities and constraints. Partners:
CHAFODI from its discharge, looking for organization & individuals that can partner and or support our activities and looking for markets for its main products (handicrafts). The handicrafts is serving two different purposes in the organization; (i) Under the vocational skills, handicrafts development is one of the key major activity for the students, (ii) the handicrafts produced by the students and members are sold and the money later helped the organization for its sustainability. Management:
CHAFODI is managed and shall be managed in accordance with its constitution and the human resource policy. At the top; policy level, there are 5 persons of renown credibility and integrity, self motivated, trusted and experienced public figures and this shall exclude among them the board secretary and a minimum of one founder member. At the technical level, there is a management team composed of volunteer staff, headed by the Managing Director with her assistant, Program coordinator, Project administrator, finance & administrator (treasure). This team is serving as the planning and budgeting committee of the organization and Human resource management is under the supervision of Managing director. Furthermore, the most important belief of CHAFODI towards its success is the existence of its human resource; they are seen as the best guarantee for quality service. Therefore its professional staff/volunteer performance enhancement and or capacity building shall be promoted through further studies both long and short term courses, participation in work-shops, conference and seminars, in-house coaching, co-learning with other professionals and interns.
