This boy, 13 years came to our office vending Boiled eggs. He was asked why he is not at School yet he should be at school this time. His response was hurting.
The boy came from Eastern Uganda (Igang) running away from his violent father. He said his father used to starve him, beat him alot, and was not taking him to school. He was brought to Nansana (an area in the outskirts of kampala) by his "Auntie" who also turned him into a "worker" selling boiled eggs.
On a daily basis, Brian carries this bucket full of eggs and moves selling until they are over! On top of that his "auntie" told him never to tell anyone about where he stays and the fact he is not schooling
We have already located where he stays and the plan is to find a way of approaching the "auntie" to help and ensure this boy goes back to school and live a life like other children!
