A 17 year young girl today who sounded so scared called our office line asking for help;
Saudah who has been schooling is now 4 months pregnant and his young boyfriend disappeared after knowing that she is pregnant! She is scared to tell her guardians about it as she fears that she may be disowned and harmed if they get to know that she is pregnant. She wants to commit suicide😒
At Nurture a Mother Foundation we encourage preventative methods for young girls at Risk but not abortion.
Tomorrow our team heads out to meet Saudah and her guardians!

Update;
It is our day 4 in hospital! Our boy Accleo is getting better but sadly he developed a terrible skin infection as well.
We are out of funds to buy the drugs needed and cater for other needs like food, diapers and detergents.
We need to buy and have the following drugs by tomorrow as per doctors recommendations.
●Kepra 250mg Ugx 35000 ($11)
●Sodium valproate Ugx 60000 ($19)
Levocitrizine Ugx 45000 ($14)

Skilling the young women and men is one of the best way of empowering them to survive and improve their standards of living in a Uganda known for joblessness.
Through our tailoring skills project, hundreds of women and young people have found means of survival through tailoring and crafts skills.
Our dream is to have a bigger resource center where we can teach the women and youths more technical and voccational skills. We call upon your partnerships and possible support to achieve this!
