Uganda young positives

Uganda young positives UYP is an organization which brings together all young people living with HIV in Uganda for action in scaling up prevention, care and support services.

UYP was born to address issues of a vulnerable population, the youth especially those in the informal sector, after acknowledging and recognizing that their social, economic and psychological issues were not attended to by any of the existing interventions yet they were enormous and hampering national development. Uganda’s population is predominantly youth and HIV and AIDS has hit this population most, especially the girl child.
