Sixty Feet - Children Justice Initiative Sharing stories of hope & restoration as we serve the imprisoned children of Uganda.

Through the work of our dedicated team on the ground in Uganda, we are providing:

- Daily Medical Care, with a team of full-time nursing staff and through partner organizations
- Gospel-centered Counseling, with accredited counselors and local pastors on staff
- Sponsorship, to be able to continue schooling and provide vocational training
- Justice, with the help of local Ugandan attorneys and partnerships with Global Justice initiatives through Pepperdine and Regent Universities
- Mentorship, through local partner organizations

Our desire is to see all of these children overcome the reality of their current life and face the future with hope and joy, through the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as their savior.

Last week, our team celebrated an incredible milestone as students graduated from our programs at our main facility in Uganda. After six months of hard work and perseverance, these young people completed courses in discipleship & HIV awareness, shoemaking, tailoring, and hairdressing.

For many of these children, this achievement represents far more than finishing a course. They have overcome tremendous hardship, trauma, and obstacles to reach this moment. Graduation wasn't just a ceremony—it was a celebration of hope, healing, and a future filled with new opportunities.

While we can't share their faces to protect their privacy, we hope these glimpses of the celebration reflect the joy, encouragement, and sense of accomplishment that filled the day.

Bringing a child safely home is just the beginning. For many of the young people we serve, rebuilding trust within their family and community takes time, consistent follow-up, and practical investment.

Through our vocational programs, our team walks alongside these individuals as they build independent futures. We see the impact of this long-term support in a young woman whose family has witnessed such growth during her recent apprenticeship that they are now advocating for her to pursue formal certification. We also see it in Brian, who is nearing the end of his mechanic apprenticeship and taking driving lessons to ensure he is fully equipped to secure work at a local garage.

This year’s theme, “Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa,” speaks directly to the children in conflict with the law whom we serve.

We are so excited to invite you to Represented and Restored, a special evening dedicated to seeking access to justice for Uganda’s imprisoned children.

Join us on November 14 from 6:00–8:00 pm for a complimentary dinner and an evening of powerful storytelling. We will share how our team walks alongside these young people—providing vital legal support, counseling, and medical care—to help them navigate the judicial system and safely return home.

Today we celebrate God’s faithfulness as John officially graduates from vocational school with a certification in Plumbing! 🙌🏾🎓

For over 10 years, it has been an honor for SixtyFeet / CJI Ministries to walk alongside John’s journey — from childhood to this incredible milestone. Our mission has always been to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity in the lives of vulnerable children, and today we rejoice seeing that mission come to life.
