LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE! 🙌❤️

✨ Just a few weeks ago, Baby Sukurani arrived weak, restless, and in need of urgent medical attention. Today, we are filled with gratitude as we witness the faithfulness of God at work in his life.

Sukurani has made considerable progress. His health has greatly improved, he is gaining strength, and the signs of recovery continue to encourage everyone involved in his care. What once seemed like a mountain is slowly becoming a testimony.

This Thursday, we shall travel to the Children's Hospital in Entebbe for his surgical review as doctors assess the next steps in his treatment journey.

We do not take any of this for granted. We thank God for every improvement, every caring medical professional, every prayer lifted on his behalf, and every person who has stood with him during this journey.

As we prepare for the review, we kindly ask you to continue praying for Baby Sukurani. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, strength for his mother, and God's guidance over every decision that lies ahead.

Today, our hearts are full of hope.
"Look what the Lord has done!" 🌟

A new school term has begun at Mtoto Wafrika Christian Nursery School, and once again our classrooms are filled with smiles, laughter and learning. ❤️📚

All through last week preparations were underway to welcome the children back. The school compound was carefully mowed and prepared, creating a cleaner and safer environment.

✨ As Term Two begins, we remain committed to nurturing not only young minds but also confidence, character, and hope within each child entrusted to us.

We thank our teachers, parents, volunteers, partners and supporters for standing with us on our journey. The impact is visible every single day. 🌿

Please continue to keep the children and the school in your prayers as we begin another meaningful term together.

We thank God for another step forward in Baby Sukurani’s healing journey. 🙏

Today he has been admitted to the Mwanamugimu facility at Mulago Hospital for specialized nutritional care after doctors found that he is suffering from severe malnutrition.

Yet even in this moment, we see God’s grace—Baby Sukurani is gradually gaining strength, and his sleep has improved significantly. He is no longer as restless as when he first arrived.

We trust the Lord for continued healing and full restoration. Please keep praying for this precious child. ❤️

We would like to share another update on Baby Sukurani. ❤️

Yesterday at the hospital, doctors inserted a feeding tube to help him receive the nourishment he needs as they continue caring for him. We thank God that he tested negative for malaria. 🙏

However, the medical team found that his body is weak and that he has low salt levels, which they are now addressing closely.

We remain hopeful and grateful that he is in safe hands receiving the care he needs.

Please continue to keep Baby Sukurani in your prayers as he grows stronger each day.

We are grateful to share that Baby Sukurani and his mother have safely arrived in Kampala and were warmly received by the Mtoto team. ❤️

They are now at Mulago National Referral Hospital in the Acute Care Unit, where Sukurani is under close medical supervision as we prepare for the next steps in his treatment.

This is a significant step in his journey toward healing, and we remain hopeful and trusting through this process.

We kindly ask you to keep Baby Sukurani in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means everything in moments like these. 🌟

⛅ He Is Risen!

Today, we celebrate the victory of life over death... hope over despair... and love over all things.

Jesus Christ is risen and He lives, we have hope.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is more than just a moment in history.
It is a reminder that new life is always possible.
That brokenness can be restored.
That even in the darkest moments... light will come.

At Mtoto Wafrika, we see this truth lived out every day.. in the laughter of children learning.. in lives being restored.. and in communities growing stronger together.

Because Jesus Christ lives, the future is full of promise. ✨

Happy Easter from all of us at Mtoto Wafrika.

🌿 Good Friday Reflection

Today, we remember the greatest act of love the world has ever known.

On the cross, Jesus Christ gave His life. Not out of obligation, but out of deep, sacrificial love for mankind.

Isaiah 53:5
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

As we reflect on this day, we are reminded that love is not just spoken. It is demonstrated through sacrifice, compassion, and service to others.

At Mtoto Wafrika, this message lives on in the work we do every day.

Because of the cross, we are called to love more deeply... to serve more faithfully... and to give more generously.

Today, we pause.
We remember.
We reflect.

And we hold onto the hope that Resurrection Sunday is coming.
