souls in Butambala last month. Some are double orphans. Some only have one parent left. Many came to school barefoot, but still showed up to learn._

*“Food has become impossible to afford”: 0743 883106 Uganda orphans struggle to find a meal after years without parents*

After years without parents, children in Uganda are facing one of the worst hunger crises of their lives.
Food has become almost impossible to afford, while school fees, lack of clean water, and no steady support have left dozens struggling to survive. With no electricity or refrigeration, food spoils within hours in the extreme heat, forcing kids to choose between hunger today or hunger tomorrow.
Every child deserves food. Every child deserves a future.
