A school meal can change a child’s day — and their future.

For children in communities facing food insecurity, a nutritious meal at school means one less day of learning on an empty stomach.

Our work is about making nutritious food more accessible to children who need it most supporting their health, learning, and opportunity to thrive.

Because every child deserves the chance to learn with a full stomach.

The question is not whether we can change their lives.
The question is whether we will.

Every day, animals experience the consequences of choices they never get to make.

We have the knowledge.
We have the compassion.
And we have the ability to build systems that treat animals with greater care and dignity.

Change doesn’t always begin with something huge. Sometimes, it begins with one decision, one conversation, one action.

The opportunity is here.

The question is: what will we do with it?

We took Eco Plates to the street a cooker, some plates, and a plan.

People ate first. Plant-based versions of food they already know, cooked right there and handed over warm. Most didn't ask questions until after the second bite. One woman asked for the recipe and wrote it on her hand.

Down the pavement, our volunteers were wrapped in plastic and laid out on supermarket trays. Labelled and priced, like anything else on the shelf. Some people laughed. Some went quiet. A few stood there a long time.

Others held placards and answered whatever came at them.

That's the whole idea. Something to taste, something to see, and someone to talk to. Nobody gets shouted at.

Food systems don't change from the top. They change when enough people stop and think about their plate. A few hundred did.

Thanks to everyone who cooked, stood, and lay on a tray in that heat.
