On November 7, the District Governor visited our club-Lions Club of Makerere. During the visit, she participated in painting the Zebra crossing and paid a courtesy call on the Ag Vice Chancellor, Makerere University Prof. Sarah Ssali.

As Lions of Uganda, we were privileged last weekend to join the Ministry of Health, the Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria, and other partners to co-organise and participate in the walk 2025.

Celebration mood!
During our end of April club meeting, we were delighted to celebrate fellow Lions in our club who registered several wins and made us proud during the month. From actively participating in the Multiple District Convention in Naivasha to appointment to the District Cabinet.

We celebrate you dear Lion members 🎉- Liz Nansubuga , ELizabeth Asiimwe , Juma Kasozi and Hilary Bakamwesiga. Thank you for making us proud.

Lions and Leos making Makerere University campus roads for users.

Today we've implemented one of the signature projects of the Lions Club of Makerere to re-paint a Zebra crossing at Makerere University

In 2019, our club in collaboration with the Estates Department of the University assessed the traffic situation and identified a need to mark Zebra crossing at some of the busy high-risk spots on campus, to ensure road safety.
