SORAINE Uganda is a local private organization registered in Kampala, Uganda, providing short and long-term technical assistance to farmers and communities in three key technical areas namely: Agriculture/Food Security; Environment/Climate Change; and Research, Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination. SORAINE is thus a Non Profit making organization. It consists of development professionals working in
partnership with small scale producers and institutions in all regions of Uganda and exploring beyond the frontiers of the country to benefit the rest of people of East-Africa Region. SORAINE works in collaboration and partnership with its partners in social responsive strategies to create great impacts in a sustainable productive environment through Agro-enterprise development, Agricultural production, Natural resources management, Nature and Biodiversity protection, Environment/Climate Change Policies Advocacy and the Promotion of innovative mechanisms and solid capacity building in both IT and Knowledge management. We are one of Uganda's first established non profit making organizations providing consultancy services in the area of environment alongside Agriculture under our third pillar of "Research, Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination" having commenced business operations in August 2010. Our commitment to offering the very best in the fields of Agriculture, Environment, Health and Research, Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination is reflected in the multidisciplinary approaches we employ to providing lasting solutions to Uganda's and World's most challenges of food security and climate change.
