Uganda Counselling Association proudly introduces the Vice President 2026-2029

This is a role of great responsibility, and we are deeply grateful that Lutaaya Ashiraf has taken it on. While in office, he will be building and nurturing strategic partnerships with government, institutions, and professional bodies. These collaborations are essential if we are to strengthen counselling services and expand access for communities across Uganda.

Over the years, Mr Lutaaya Ashiraf has contributed with diligence and commitment on various Board Committees, offering guidance, stability, and a clear focus on member welfare.
We are optimistic about the experience and vision he brings to this office. We warmly welcome him and look forward to the great service he will continue to offer to UCA and to the counselling profession in Uganda.

Uganda Counselling Association Strategic Plan 2026–2030 Launched

The Outgoing and Incoming Presidents of the Uganda Counselling Association have unveiled the Strategic Plan for 2026–2030. The plan outlines key priorities, milestones, and opportunities to strengthen counselling services across Uganda.

We encourage all members to take an active role in achieving the goals set out in the plan. We also call upon government, partners, and stakeholders to support this important engagement. Parliament of Uganda Ministry of Health- Uganda Ministry of Education and Sports Uganda World Health Organization (WHO) UNICEF Uganda NTV Uganda Daily Monitor International Association of Counselling - IAC Africa

The plan was approved by the AGM, duly signed, and officially launched by the Board and Association Members. Let us embrace it together as we work toward a stronger, more impactful Counselling Profession.
