Today is ✝️

A time to reflect on sacrifice, love, and the power of giving without expecting in return.
May this day fill your heart with peace, hope, and quiet reflection.

This is where the magic starts 👀🌿
Out in Rwentumba CLA, a community member teams up with Ecotrust to install a camera trap deep in the landscape. Quiet, simple… but powerful, because once that camera is up, the forest starts telling its story.

🐾 Who’s moving through?

🌙 What happens when no one is watching?
Stay tuned… you already know what’s coming next 😏

We’re proud to be part of 🌍

Today, Ecotrust presented how nature credits are helping turn conservation into real opportunities for communities.

From restoring forests to protecting watersheds, this approach ensures that communities are not just participants but beneficiaries of conservation efforts.
💡 When communities lead, nature thrives.
💡 When outcomes are measurable, impact can scale.

This is how we build a future where people and nature grow together.

👀 Who just passed our camera?
This one started very calmly… just a chimpanzee enjoying some sugarcane like it’s a quiet afternoon snack. 🌿
Then another one shows up… sits down… and suddenly it’s no longer a solo moment 😄

Was she there for the sugarcane? Or something else? 👀

Nature has its own way of telling stories, and thanks to community-led camera trap monitoring, we get a front-row seat.

Another day, more stories from the forest 🌿

The Wambabya Tree Nature Women’s Group is back at the ECOTRUST booth at Uganda Water and Environment Week 2026, continuing to showcase their amazing products, from honey and herbs to crafts and tree seedlings. 🍯

Their work is a great example of how communities can earn from nature while protecting it, reducing pressure on forests like Wambabya and Bugoma.

And yes… the honey is still a crowd favorite 😉
