This boy earns a living looking for something to recover and sell in the heap of waste. Like him, other people get on the waste hill hoping to find something useful. The landfill is in the middle of the Namuwong district, with all the problems of insalubility and degradation that derive from it. The square is used by children and teenagers as a game area. Around the landfill homes and small shops, with the daily life that has its course normal. Tà

Alice and grandmother live in Kanyogogue, Kampala. They earn to live by collecting and selling recyclable waste. Alice has parents, but live and work far away, in the north-west of Uganda. The precarious economic conditions prevent Alice - 13 years old - from going to school. It is a negative condition, which very limits the chances of aspiring to a better future. Today Alice and the grandmother do not celebrate March 8, but I would like to dedicate this day to them. To their dignity, kindness, to the warm welcome always received. To Alice and his grandmother a great wish of all good, for today and for the future. And immense wishes from the heart to all women, especially to those who feel the difficulties of life every day.

Thanks to the generosity of new sponsors, these three children have recently joined our program and are now being lifted out of desperate poverty.

Every child we support receives:
✔ A safe place to come each day
✔ Two nutritious meals daily
✔ Medical care
✔ The chance to learn, dance, play, and simply be a child

Together, we’re changing the lives of over 450 children—all made possible by the kindness of our sponsors.

Each sponsor supports an individual child. Will you help us change another child’s world?
