On the 25th July 2026, the Kibbo Ghetto Climate Change Foundation successfully carried out a community clean-up, bringing together dedicated volunteers to clear litter and promote a cleaner, healthier environment.

Kibbo Ghetto Climate Change Foundation, Roofings Uganda, Kyambogo University Engineering Society, Eco Podcast Uganda, and United Nations Association Uganda came together to inspire climate action among university students.

From an energizing marathon to team-building games like tug of war and soccer , and meaningful tree planting , the day was a powerful blend of awareness, action, and community engagement.

These activities not only promoted environmental protection but also empowered young minds to take responsibility for combating climate change.
