Saving Arms International VISION

Saving Arms International envisions a Uganda free from street kids and physical and spiritual poverty. OBJECTIVES

1. Provision of food and shelter
2.

Saving Arms International is a faith-based organization working with underserved communities to improve the live of unprivileged children through responsive and innovative health programming, service delivery and capacity building in Uganda. Saving Arms International is an organization that was set up by a group of individuals who observed the vulnerability that the needy children are facing in their impoverished communities around the country. Many of these children end up on streets due to various reasons such as; domestic violence, abandonment by their parents, or guardians due to poverty, death of their parents or guardians.. Since these children are being faced with many forms of discrimination from society and are branded as public menace, the chances are increasingly high for them to engage in high risky behaviors, such as; drug and substance abuse, drug trafficking, alcohol abuse, sexual-related activities which may lead into r**e and early child pregnancies, pick pocketing and petty robberies, child labor and child prostitution, since it seems to them as the ways through which they can survive. On this issue the unprivileged needy children are party of our society and Saving Arms International we believe it is moral responsibility to love them back, love and care for them and also restore hope in their future. The vulnerability of the needy children is on the increase despite of the government’s intervention to solve the problem through programs which campaign against domestic violence, child abuse and also driving the street children off the streets. At Saving Arms International we wish to partner with individuals and organizations who can support us as we develop and implement programs through which these children’s will get transformed and develop their life skills which they can use to participate in society as resourceful citizens. We are committed to strengthening the communities, caring for people in need and achieving excellence in all we do. We are united in demonstrating God’s love, our proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ and pursuit of holistic community transformation. MISSION

We are grateful to share that about **50 of our supported children at Saving Arms International have successfully settled back in school** this term. 📚✨

This would not have been possible without the incredible support of our **sponsors and partners** who faithfully provided the necessary school requirements, tuition, and care for these children. Your generosity continues to give hope, stability, and a brighter future to every child under our care.

On behalf of the children and the entire Saving Arms International family, **we say thank you for standing with our orphans and investing in their future.**

Together, we are changing lives. ❤️

📘 A Simple Book Can Change a Child’s Life

In Karamojja, children walk long distances to school every day with big dreams in their hearts.
But many sit in class with no exercise book to write in.

Imagine wanting to learn, raising your hand, and then lowering it—because you have nothing to write on.

An exercise book may seem small, but to a child in Karamojja, it means hope, confidence, and staying in school.

We are fundraising to provide exercise books to Karamojja school children.
💛 Your support—no matter how small—can put learning back into a child’s hands.

👉 Please donate if you can
👉 Share this post to reach more hearts

Together, let’s turn blank pages into bright futures.

🎄 Bringing the Light of Christmas to Karamoja — A Call to Compassion

Every Christmas, the world pauses to celebrate the greatest gift ever given — the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a season of love, giving, and remembering those who need our help the most.

This year, Saving Arms International is turning its heart toward Karamoja, a region where many families continue to face hunger, drought, and extreme poverty. While many of us will gather around tables filled with food, countless children and mothers in Karamoja will be praying for even a single meal.

But together, we can change that.

🌟 Theme: “Jesus Was Born for Karamoja Too.”

Christmas is not just a date on the calendar — it’s a message of hope to the world.
And this message belongs to every child, every family, every community — including those in Karamoja.

This Christmas, we are launching a mission to bless 200 vulnerable families with essential food packages. These packages include staple food items that can sustain a family and bring relief in a season that is often the hardest for many in this region.

💚 Why Your Support Matters

For the children of Karamoja, hunger is not a temporary challenge — it is their daily reality. Many walk long distances for water, skip meals, and face malnutrition at a young age.

Your contribution can be the difference between:

✨ A child going to bed hungry
or
✨ A child smiling with a full stomach on Christmas Day

Each package costs only UGX 50,000 — less than what many of us spend on a single meal — yet it can feed a family for days.

🎁 Our Goal: 200 Food Packages

Cost per package: UGX 50,000

Total families to reach: 200

Impact: Over 1,000 lives touched with the love of Christ

Your generosity will not just provide food — it will restore dignity, hope, and joy to a region that has endured so much.

🤝 How You Can Support

You can sponsor 1, 5, 10, or more packages. No amount is too small.
Whatever you give, God can multiply to bless a family in need.
