KANUNGU YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION is formed mainly to intercept the challenges faced by the youth both in Uganda and those living in the diaspora world.Youth remain the greatest source of untapped potential to development. The main objectives upo which this association is meant for include;
• To unite all youth within Kanungu District.
• To introduce income generating activities like poultry f
arming, cattle rearing, bee keeping for the unemployed youth in Kanungu District.
• To create a forum for all people of Kanungu District living in Kampala, other urban centres, and the diaspora to come together and brainstorm on issues affecting their background.
• To enhance development lobbying skills by co-ordinating between members of all categories and other people as a unit network with one voice and a common vision.
• To cater and show solidarity amongst the people of Kanungu District for one another's socio life and needs.
• To act as agent of positive change in the implementation of good governance for the development of Kanungu District.
• To raise and institute amongst the people of Kanungu District living in Urban Centres both in Uganda and the diaspora a legitimate culture and spirit of loving their area.
• To form an institution, whose name will help people of Kanungu District to access whatever opportunities lie in the urban centres in Uganda and the diaspora and expand public relations for the district
• To encourage harmony and cultivate good relationships of solidarity among leaders at different levels of representation in the District.
• To always carry out research on the needs of the people of Kanungu District and give the relevant advice and help.
• To create an informed population in the District through seminars and conferences and to identify and promote education and general developmental projects and schemes.
• To pursue the main goal of creating a modern and developed Kanungu District in all fields of social, economic and political development.
• To do any other lawful thing that may be incidental to or necessary for the attainment of the goals and objectives herein above stipulated either jointly or severally.
• To carry out income generating activities to raise funds for the development and promotion of the goals of the forum and Kanungu District as a whole.
• To promote intimate mutual understanding and constant interaction among members for social development and uplifting of the standard of living and education of Association members the spirit of togetherness and cooperation.
• To carry out trainings, skill development and empowerment of the people both being members of the foundation and non members
• To give support and encourage deserving public and private charitable causes.
• To cultivate and enhance the spirit of saving and investment amongst the members.
• To provide systems for conducting pensionary schemes for the members.
• To provide and organise recreational and other social activities among o e.g. games, parties, seminars, etc.
• To acquire for the use and benefit of the club moveable or immoveable property by way of gifts, grants, donations, bequests or in any other manner.
• To mobilize resources that will be used to promote credit facilities for members and non members of the association in order to promote credit facilities for members and non members of the association in order to promote their social and economic development
• To extend and exchange ideas on how to improve our business and how to manage them better.
• To work with the community leaders to promote government programmes especially those that relate to health, education and poverty alleviation.

• To give support and encourage deserving public and private charitable causes.
• To do all such other lawful matters and things and to take all lawful steps as may be necessary to promote, improve and safeguard the social welfare of and for the attainment of the objectives of the club.
• To establish, operate, manage and conduct Hospitals, dispensaries, health centres, vaccination and immunization centers in order to good health in a society.
• To acquire land, build maintain, alter, enlarge, pull down, remove and replace any building or structure, and to clear site for the same and join with any person, organizations firms or company in doing any of the things aforesaid and to work, manage or control the same.
• To establish, promote and maintain, charitable programmes, schemes, or projects and such activities for the advancement and furtherance of charitable purpose, and in particular caring or looking after needy children, orphans, widows, destitutes, displaced persons by way of supplying them with relief and aid.
• To undertake and execute any charitable trusts which may lawfully be undertaken by the company and may be determined from time to time.
• To operate, establish or engage in and carry out such activities, projects, schemes and programmes for the advancement and furtherance of charitable purposes, in particular agriculture, farming, tailoring, and health.
• To provide lecture and instruction facilities of all kinds, and to grant scholarships, and to sponsor students for courses, or lectures in educational institutions.
• To purchase, take on lease, or by any other means acquire any movable or immovable property in Uganda or elsewhere for any estate or interest whatever, and any rights, privileges or easements over or in respect of any property and any buildings, machinery engines, plant, live and dead stock or things whatsoever.
• To acquire, build, maintain, alter, enlarge, pull down, remove or replace any buildings, lecture and classrooms, laboratories, pavilions, or offices, to clear sites for the same, and to join with any person, firm or company in doing any of the things aforesaid, and work, manage and control the same or join with others in so doing.
• To borrow or raise and give security for money by the issue of or upon bonds debentures, debenture stock, bills of exchange, promissory notes or other obligations or securities of the club or by mortgage or change upon all or any part of the property of the organisation.
• To do all other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
• To sell, improve, manage, develop, exchange, lease, mortgage, dispose of, turn to account or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property and rights of the Organisation.
• To participate in Community health initiatives like HIV/AIDS awareness to the society, provide platform of obtaining improved water sources and sanitation.
• To promote vocational skills training development and employment for youth by setting up a vocational skills training centers from each sub-county.
• To borrow or raise and give security for money by the issue of or upon bonds debentures, debenture stock, bills of exchange, promissory notes or other obligations or securities of the club or by mortgage or change upon all or any part of the property of the organization.
• To participate in Community health initiatives like HIV/AIDS awareness to the society, provide platform of obtaining improved water sources and sanitation.
• To promote vocational skills training development and employment for youth by setting up a vocational skills training centers from each sub-county.
• To carry out Environmental protection awareness and natural resource conservation through community sensitization in collaboration with Uganda Wild life Authority (UWA), National Forest Authority (NFA) and other agencies and development partners as a way of conserving the nature.
• To encourage youth to engage in Agricultural activities and food security through participation in government programmes including NAADS.
• Advocate for good governance and accountability among our leaders.
