Vision For the Young Generation (ViFYG) is a newly formed non-profit making company limited by guarantee and having no share. It is initiated with aims of tackling social problems and mainly corruption which is posing the biggest threat to the Uganda’s social, political and economic development. This project will enable the students at the higher level of education who are also the key developme
nt stakeholders in this country to fully be aware of corruption dangers and how they can jointly avoid and prevent it. The principle modality of project operationalisation will be the following: Debate in School (higher institution of learning) as a core project geographies, Article writing Promotion in Schools focusing on the dangers of corruption as a dissemination campaign methods, Drama and plays organized within formal settings, Symposiums, Public lectures, Organizing Peaceful Marching and Demonstration against corruption and among others. This approach and methodological protocol will help in engendering a critical mass of the right-headedness and the young generation will be in position to spearhead the struggle against corruption in Uganda. In reality, Communicating for the Behavioral Change against Corruption (CBCC) will emphasized on the value of the love for one another through recognizing every human beings values and the love and the protection for the country interest (patriotism)
This will significantly enables educated young citizen of this country to promote the highest level of integrity and love for one another since it has been discovered that some Ugandans misappropriate public funds under the guise of “I don’t care”.
