03 people died today on the 16th March 2026, following a single fatal crash Interchange along the Entebbe Expressway @0630 a.m.

The crash involved vehicle UBG 734S, a T/ Land Cruiser. The driver of the said vehicle identified as Ssenyonjo Bosco a business man resident of Masaka, was traveling with his family towards the Entebbe side when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to speeding on the expressway. The vehicle first knocked the basement of a street light pole and later hit a road pillar before overturning several times

As a result of the crash, 03 occupants including the driver died instantly while 02 others sustained severe injuries

A team of Traffic Police responded swiftly to the scene evacuated the injured victims to Grade B Hospital where they received first aid before being referred to another medical facility for further management

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased who lost their lives in this crash. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time and we wish a quick recovery to the injured

Motorists are advised to strictly observe speed limits, remain alert while driving and always maintain full control of their vehicles.
