Today we celebrate Allan and Alex, two brave boys who were supported off the streets and welcomed into our care. With the dedicated team at MLISADA Organisation walking closely with them, both boys have completed their rehabilitation program and are now ready to return to school next term.

Allan was previously in Primary Four and Alex in Primary Three. They are excited to resume their education and rebuild their future with hope.

We warmly invite friends and well-wishers to support their school fees and essential school needs for the coming term. Your contribution will help keep them in school and strengthen their journey of transformation.

Volunteer & Internship Opportunity – Mtaani Foundation

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children? Mtaani Foundation, a registered non-governmental organization working with street-connected children in Uganda, is inviting volunteers and interns to join our mission.

Areas of Work
• Direct engagement with children (mentorship, life skills, basic education support)
• Community outreach and family reintegration support
• Administration and case documentation
• Social media and awareness campaigns
• Fundraising and partnerships support

Who We’re Looking For?
• University students (social work, psychology, education, law, business, IT, etc.) needing internship/field attachment
• Recent graduates and early-career professionals seeking experience in child-focused non-profits
• Individuals with compassion, patience, and commitment to child welfare

What You’ll Gain
• Practical experience working with street children and vulnerable communities
• Mentorship in child protection, advocacy, and non-profit management
• Certificate of service and reference letter upon completion
• Networking opportunities with partners and professionals in the child welfare sector
Terms
• This is a volunteer/unpaid internship role.
• Duration: 3–6 months, flexible.
• Activities will be a mix of fieldwork and remote support.
• Small facilitation (transport, lunch) may be provided when possible.

On Sunday, we had the joy of visiting the incredible children at MLISADA Home, little champions who have been rescued from the streets. Their laughter, energy, and warm smiles lit up the entire day!

We are deeply grateful to our amazing sponsors who went above and beyond — providing delicious meals for the children on both Saturday and Sunday, and gifting them with food and back-to-school supplies.
