Directions

The Fortress is a non profit that reaches out to vulnerable girls and women.

*We reach our to victims of abuse, GBV, teenage pregnancy, child marriage among others.
*We provide life skills training, counselling, discipleship, Mama supplies, emergency care and rehabilitation.
*We reach girls in community with Girl At Risk Empowerment trainings and Psychosocial support.
*We reach out to pregnant teenagers who are form abusive invironments and some are abandoned and need support.We offer them love and acceptance. We provide a safe haven, counseling services, Bible study classes, hand skills,cookery classes, life skills like self esteem and pregnancy care classes in addition to the food and medical care.

*To the pregnant teenagers who do not need a haven, we do home visits,provide counseling services and other supplies as we see need.
* We empower teenage Boys and families too...offering life skills and parenting trainings.

Closing the beautiful week in style!! Exercises, fitness yet fun!! A beautiful midwife has done an amazing job training us in several exercises. We are refreshed as well as had a lot of fun! Blessed weekend to you too ladies out there…. Would you consider some fitness and fun too!? Love you!

What a fruitful eyeopening, exposure tour that the girls had. All the Vocations trainees had a day out to visit beauty saloons and tailoring workshops and bussnesses to learn! Thanks to our hosts... Sua and Naisha Love Africa(Tailors), Lady Moreen( saloon)& Rony Kampala locs!!!!

East ,west home is Best! While Saying farewell to our girl, we saw tears of joy ans sadness after her her 12 months stay with us at the Fortress! What amazed me most was the evident positive change that everyone spoke about as they bid her fairwell. She did not only come to have her baby but to experience God’s unconditional love and transformation! Thank you Lord for the lives transformed by the power of Love.

Many mothers fear to go to hospital for child birth withought the needed Mama Kits...The Fortress does out reaches to such mothers donating Mama Kits( items for the actual safe child birth) and baby Kits( baby items 0-6months) as well as prenatal & parenting lessons and Prayer!! We are glad to save the lives of babies and mothers this way!

The girls are super excited to learn about computer use! The trainer and all of us were amazed to see how interested and thrilled the girls were! Excited to see how this venture goes...Each laptop was shared by about 6 girls but they were happy still. &YoungMothers!

Today, on Ugandas Heros Day, we celebrate all the Fortress Girls who choose to keep their babies inspite of the challenges. You girls are True Heros!!

What's on my mind? Before Julian's wedding, The Fortress family did a bridal shower... to prepare Bride Julian and Bride Florence for their Grooms...was so much fun. Here are some of ghe games we did...just fun and Prayer too. Thank you Lord for more Fortress Brides!!

We call our former Fortress girls that are sucessful...Fortress Champions. Yah...we are proud to show off Julian's wedding...True Restoration through the Fortress. Julian one day while at the Fortress, i was praying for the Girls to have Weddings and good marriages....she confessed to me that she did not believe me. She tought that was impossible...But God has done it for her regardless. Congratulations Julian and John!
