Central Riders Association End of Year Prayers
Every year, on the 31st of December, CRA holds a special event to honor and remember the bikers who passed away in the previous year. This event is called the End of Year Prayers, and it is a solemn and meaningful occasion for the members of CRA and their families.
The End of Year Prayers is a way of paying tribute to the fallen bikers, who are considered as brothers and sisters by the CRA members. The event involves a prayer service, where the names of the deceased are read out loud and candles are lit for each one of them. The prayer service is followed by a ride.
The ride is a symbolic gesture of solidarity and respect, as well as a celebration of the joy of riding that the fallen bikers loved.
The End of Year Prayers is also a way of supporting and comforting the families of the fallen bikers, especially the children who lost their parents. CRA collects money from all the members to buy scholastic materials for the orphans of the fallen bikers, such as books, pens, uniforms, and fees. These materials are distributed to the children during the event, and the bikers also spend some time with them, playing games, telling stories, and giving advice. This helps the children to feel like they are not abandoned by the friends of their parents, and that they have a big family of bikers who care for them.
The End of Year Prayers is a tradition that CRA has been doing for many years, and it is a testament to the strong bond and spirit of the association. By remembering and honoring the bikers who passed away, CRA shows its gratitude and loyalty to its members, and its commitment to the values of riding and community. By helping and comforting the families of the fallen bikers, CRA shows its compassion and generosity to the people who need it the most, and its hope for the future of the children. The End of Year Prayers is more than just an event, it is a way of life for CRA and its members.
