On Sunday, 23rd August 2026, CDA Goma organized a Family Day Out. Each couple attended together with their children.
The day was filled with joy and bonding as parents and children played games together and shared memorable moments. We were honored to host Mrs. Malekani Esther, who delivered an inspiring talk on the theme "Good Upbringing of Children for the Future of Society."
Families truly enjoyed the moment, and it was an unforgettable day for everyone.

On 9th July 2026, CLA DRC students participated in a Capstone Session.
During the session, students presented a summary of their key learnings and reflected on their journey — before, during, and after the program. A significant highlight was students connecting the lessons learned to the life and influence of a leader who has impacted them. This exercise helped them internalize the values taught and see how leadership is lived out in real life. The session marked a meaningful moment of reflection, gratitude, and vision for applying what they have learned.

On Tuesday, 26 May 2026 and Thursday, 28 May 2026, CDA DR-Congo concluded its discipleship program. Dr. Stay taught on Kindness and Humility, and Mr. Baraka taught on Gratitude and Joy. These final sessions marked the completion of the current discipleship series. We trust that the values shared throughout these lessons will remain in the students’ hearts and be demonstrated in their character, relationships, and service. Our sincere appreciation goes to the Discipleship Coordinator, Mr. Philip Balume, for his faithful leadership and dedication throughout the program.

Last week in Tanzania, CLA held a COSA retreat for Stage 1 students transitioning into Stage 2. The retreat served as an orientation and equipping session where students were introduced to the objectives, expectations, and spiritual formation focus of Stage 2, also known as COSA. Through teaching, discussion, and fellowship, students gained a clear understanding of what this next phase of discipleship entails. The retreat concluded successfully, with students encouraged and prepared to begin Stage 2 with renewed commitment.
