Now, an issue that impacts teenage girls, women living in slums that is often neglected is menstrual hygiene. Girls miss several school days a year due to lack of access to sanitary towels.
If girls are missing school days, this implies poor school results or girls dropping out of the education system leading to inability to access formal employment and in turn high incidences of poverty amongst women and girls. Join us now, let's give sanitary pads to needy girls, women living in slums! 👯‍♀️
