LIVELIHOOD is an International Non Government Organization OR developmental Organization CBO/NGO that was founded by a group of three people who were inspired by the same vision of community work and service. The group had the same interest, aims, objectives and vision for the good livelihoods of the voiceless and the so - called under privileged and vulnerable members in society. It is registered
by the Directorate of Community Based Services under Registration Number WCBO/647/10 and The NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS REGISTRATION ACT under Registration Number (9797) and has been in existence si nce its inception in 2007 even before registration
Livelihood, through its endeavor to restore hope and promote a better livelihood for all, has established outreach communities in the districts of Kayunga, Kangulumira, Jinja, Mityana with a membership of at least; 100 children and youth and 150 elderly widows/disadvantaged women and men. A number of these members have been given hope through imparting practical life or vocational skills like handcraft, drama and agriculture. We have also been in position to provide house hold items and other donations to the members which include clothes, shoes, etc while others may directly benefit from The “LIVELIHOOD SPONSOR A CHILD PROGRAMME” especially those in Bweyogerere and Kangulumira.
