Our Vision: A World in which HIV/AIDS has Been Defeated & Mission: To reduce the vulnerability of individuals, families & communities living with or directly affected by HIV/AIDS by defeating SSDDIM & multiplying SAVE working with faith based community. FOCAGIFO is now working with the Global Working Group on Faith,SSDDIM and HIV to achieve the following targets:-

By the end of March 2012, the fo

llowing targets will have been reached:

· Contribution to the prevention of 2,400,000 new infections

· Provision of Non –Judgmental care and Treatment to 1,400,000 PHAs

· Empowerment of 1 million orphans and other vulnerable children.

· At least 5 Development Partners and 1 country in ECSA states and beyond adopting the SSDDIM Reduction and SAVE multiplication approach to HIV & AIDS prevention, care, treatment and impact mitigation.

· At least 50 Faith communities in ECSA states implementing the 2031 Campaign to SAVE Families, Communities and Nations from HIV & AIDS.

· At least 50,000 churches, mosques and Temple ’s related leaders and other behavior change agents in the 15 ECSA countries trained in SSDDIM reduction & SAVE Multiplication, strategic planning, programming & advocacy at congregational, local and national level.

· 1, 4000 churches, Mosques and Temple related congregations have Ambassador’s of life & Peace at least 60 @ congregation.

· At least 1 SSDDIM Reduction & SAVE multiplication model congregations identified, documented and their best practices shared in targeted communities with in the Global Working Group on Faith,SSDDIM Reduction and SAVE Multiplication activities and programmes mapped

Hulo to friends of Canon Gideon! On behalf of the FOCAGIFO family and on my own behalf, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of u that came through to support this event! You made it a great event with your financial support, prayers and physical presence!
