This support goes beyond providing medicines, it is an investment in the health, dignity, and well-being of the communities we serve. By ensuring access to essential medicines and empowering community-led health initiatives, IBU is helping to improve health outcomes, reduce barriers to care, and strengthen the voices of communities at the forefront of delivering life-changing services.

Because the real vibe happens in the night 🌙, and so our real time HIV services, on the streets, in the clubs and entertainment circles where fun, happiness and risks meet.

Traditionally, when the nights are busy, health facilities are closed for key HIV services and commodities. With support from AIDS-Fondet and CISU - Civilsamfund i Udvikling Our a mobile Drop-In-Centre is bridging this gap, taking HIV services on streets, during time when it's needed most.

Knowledge saves lives. Conversations change communities.
With support from IDI, LMEC conducted a U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) community awareness activity in Kiwatule, empowering community members with accurate information on HIV treatment and prevention.
When a person living with HIV takes their treatment consistently and achieves an undetectable viral load, they cannot sexually transmit HIV. U=U is a powerful message of hope that helps reduce stigma, encourages treatment adherence, and promotes healthier communities.
Together, we’re creating a future where everyone has access to life saving information, support, and quality HIV services.
