Hello Friends
This is the kind of life we are living with the children here in Uganda, Because of lack of funds ,the children are turned back from school every week,they don't concentrate at school,leading to poor performance yet education is the key to success and for now they're being tutored at home by brother Yairo.

Nice to share with you the photos of Babirye merisa ,was born Blind, we met her last year during the community out reach Buyende district,when she was one year old, she lives in Buyende district, now she has made two years,we would like her to join the school of children with special needs.
We invite you to raise your voice in prayer for her to join the school of children with special needs.

He is splinting the Logs into small pieces of firewood which can fit in the cooking stone.
We always have a challenge to splint big logs into small pieces, we pray God provides a power saw to easy the work of splinting big logs into small pieces of firewood. Believing God is able.

Festivals and Spacial Days
We have Easter day or Passover which is celebrated by Christians world wide , this is done through prayers and having a good meal , we sometimes joined by other people / children from the community because we need the children to get used to other children living outside Nissi home and learn the habit of sharing with others in the community.
We do celebrate Christmas day as it's general day for the christians to remember the birth of Jesus People exchange Christmas gifts, Meals and many other gifts.
We do celebrate birthdays for our children and the staff volunteers.
We do honor other special days as it's outlined on the calendar of the year,like Labor Day, International womens' day to mention a few.

Usual life at Nissi project, during morning hours, children perform different activities especially on the weekends like today, they're divided according to ages,timetable of the day,one group is washing the utensils, another group is sweeping the compound.
Hygiene is highly practiced to ensure children learn to live in a healthy environment.

This is our usual life at Nissi project, today,Sylvia and the children spent the morning weeding the maize corn , banana plants and other crops, this space is small as you can view it in the photo, it's around our home but we utilize it to get some vegetables prepared as Sauce for children and some little food.
We do work with children, this is done with great love as Children are learning some agricultural skills which will help them in future as they grow because Uganda is an agricultural country.
For sustainability of the ministry, we plan to have big space where children can study,play ,grow food on large scale, rear cows, goats and poultry.
As God is merciful,we believe God will make away where there seems to be no way.
God is Love.

Agricultural production at Nissi project Uganda.
Life at Nissi project Uganda, we utilize the small piece of land around our house to grow a variety of crops,we do intercropping ,this is done in order to have food , vegetables, sugarcane, banana, Chicken, cassava, eggplants, ,we do it with great love and passion, however small the space is , it's used maximumly as we continue praying for the big land where we can grow a variety of food crops to feed the children both foster families and Nissi transitional home

Life at Nissi project Uganda is full of activities and fun ,this evening we are shaving the children, this is done twice in a month.
At times electricity goes off some days when this activities and you might have shaved a half way the head of a child, imagine moving with the head halfway shaved , another half of the head has full grownup hair.
This is one of the reason why we need to have a Solar panel that can produce enough electricity for use in many activities such as shaving, charging, cooking simple meals and to provide lighting.
This is going on now.
