Fellisha is only 17 years old and the eldest of seven children. Despite carrying responsibilities beyond her age, she continues to dream of a better future through education.

Her sponsorship ended earlier this year, and now she risks missing school—not because she doesn’t want to learn, but because she has no support.

Enoch, the young boy with big dreams

Meet Enoch, a young boy from Katanga with a big future, but a difficult journey.

Born to a mentally incapacitated mother, Enoch lives under the care of his grandmother since he was born. His father unknown because he and his siblings were born as victims of r**e.

Enoch’s grandmother also takes care of many other grandchildren and still has school going children of her own. To support this large family, she fries snacks such as sambusas and chapatis ,earning only about $2.50 a day in profit. This small income is not enough to provide for the family and save for the children’s school fees.

Because of these challenges, Enoch is frequently out of school simply because his grandmother cannot afford his school fees.

Enoch, a young boy with big dreams, is looking for someone to support his education and build a better future, maybe one day he will also be able to support his community.

RE-SPONSOR SHANITA TODAY !
Shanita stays with her mother and her elder siblings in a one-room home in a slum area of Kawempe. Her father left for Sudan about 8 years ago, and the family has never heard from him since. They do not know whether he is alive or dead, as he abandoned Shanita ever since.

Shanita’s mother works hard to provide for the family, making and selling morning snacks like sambusas, chapatis, and doughnuts from their veranda. The family struggles to meet their basic needs, including rent, which is contributed by one of Shanita’s elder siblings because her mother cannot afford it alone.

Shanita was first sponsored in 2023, but her sponsorship ended early this year. Without support, she cannot continue with her education.

Shanita is looking for a sponsor who can help her resume school and continue with her education.

A child’s future should not end because support has ended. You can be the person who gives Shanita another chance to learn, grow, and build a better future.
