Cornerstone Blessed Children's HOME". OUR HOME IS A PLACE FOR HOPE FOR THE OVC'S AND A PLACE THE CHILDREN WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED.

Uganda has one of the highest number of Orphans in the world, after decades of civil wars, the AIDS epidemic ravaged the country so much that there are some villages that were almost wiped out entirely. This is the main reason that Cornerstone blessed children's home was established. We started along time ago with harboring children from within our family members and then children's of friends als

o were inclusive, and nowadays we have many children that we even don't know their parents. Although still incapacitated by the ability to absorb more children, we vowed never to turn down or chase away a child in need. We are committed not only in bring up the children as law abiding citizens but also GOD- FEARING, INDIVIDUALS, BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THAT ALL OUR PROBLEMS WERE CAUSED BY INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE NEVER GOD CONSIOUS. Even if we change lives of one child or a dozen or a hundred , we will consider our mission a success as we know that one good soul can change the world. We call upon all people to exercise their humanity side and lets change lives together

If you have a warm nice bed ,to lie down, then you should thank the almighty for that! Because of an influx to the number of orphans we receive, some of our children are sleeping in very poor conditions!
We believe no parent would wish for their children to sleep in such conditions>The good thing is that you...... can do something to change this! With only $100 USD, we can get a triple decker bed that can accomodate for 6 children , and for another $100 USD, the children can have nice clean warm beddings!
PLEASE GIVE US A HAND TO MAKE THE NIGHTS OF THESE ORPHANS COMFORTABLE!

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IS NEED URGENTLY.......This old man has a rotting foot that he has been advised to be amputated! The problem is that he is a poor family man who used to work as abee farmer till he became sick, now all his hives are destroyed because there is no one to tender for them!

W.A.S.H programs have been made popular by world leaders everywhere ,they claim that water and sanitation is an important part of human rights, but the problem is that these programs only run in cities.Below are toilets that are used by one of our partner schools in Bukomansimbi, they are not only unhygenic but also dangerous.
its against this that we are starting a campaign to build proper toilets for the hundreds of pupils in this school!
Our plea is for all everyone who can help us ...to Construct proper latrines to come to our help and also install water ata the school!

Many people in the western world would not understand this photo but the truth is that to our children many as young as 3 years old, this is one of the best sights ,time to pray and eat, we have trained them to know that many other children in the world go to bed hungry, and they should pray for all those that make them be able to have three meals a day! MAY ALL OF YOU BE BLESSED!
WE BELIEVE THAT ONE DAY THE LORD WILL TELL YOU THIS BELOW!

These are donations that we get from well-wishers all over the world, what touches us most is the fact that ,none of our donors have seen these children, only in photos and video calls, but their concern for them is always heart touching, this has made me believe that in this harsh world, we still have angels amongst US! The happy faces of our children elastrate how we bring them up! We endevour to see that they are made to enjoy their play and they cant play unless their stomachs are full, its against this fact that we constantly look for people to help us feed the children and thus make them not to miss their departed parents!

These are some of our children that have just sat their primary leaving certificate examination! We are glad that they have managed to reach this far , but our worry is that they might be ubnable to continue if we dont get sponsorship! WE SEND A PLEA ON THEIR BEHALF FOR ANYONE WHO COULD SPONSOR ANY OF THESE ORPHANS FOR EDUCATION TO COME OUT AND GIVE THESE CHILDREN A FIGHTING CHANCE IN THIS HARSH WORLD!

Looking after the elders is an instruction from the HOLY BIBLE......Who amongst us would like to see their old father or mother suffer? We at cornerstone look at the elders in our community and often take for the poor ones food , this is because we are ordered by the lord to look after them as if they are our own parents
1 Timothy 5:1-2
"Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers; 2. older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity."

Last friday was a fruity friday for our children at our home, fruits have many benefits especially to young growing bodies, that is why we have one day in a week that we change the diet and include fruits , this is an arrangement from one of the good samaritans that we have , we wish that we could make more days of fruits eating in our diets and we welcome any one out there to come and sponsor a day for the children as this is feeding the poor and by feeding the hungry and the poor , you are feeding the lord!
