I had the opportunity to attend the 3rd Edition, organized by Africa and CivLegacy Foundation.

It was a powerful experience that challenged my thinking about leadership, growth, and personal responsibility. One of the key lessons I took away is to stop fearing fear, because fear is often a signal to move forward, not to stop.

I also learned that when you stop growing, you slowly lose relevance in life socially, mentally, and professionally, which reminds me that growth is not optional. Another important reflection was the need to use fear to push beyond our limits, because once you choose a victim mindset, you begin to live it.

We also explored the foundations of leadership and trust, especially the importance of self-trust as the starting point of all leadership. Before leading others, you must first be able to trust yourself through integrity, discipline, and consistency.

Trust is built on the four cores of credibility: integrity, intent, capabilities, and results. Strong leaders also practice simple but powerful behaviors like honesty, respect, transparency, keeping commitments, and correcting mistakes when they happen.

Finally, we learned about “smart trust,” which is not blind trust or suspicion, but a balanced approach that empowers others while maintaining accountability.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn and bring these insights back to my community.

We have successfully completed the assessment of youth-led small businesses under our Youth Business Support Program.

The next phase will focus on preparing selected entrepreneurs to receive booster grants that will help strengthen and grow their businesses.

We believe that sustainable business growth requires more than financial support. Through mentorship, guidance, and capacity building, we are helping young entrepreneurs build resilient enterprises and create lasting impact in their communities.

As we continue helping young people in the communities we serve discover their purpose, we are creating opportunities that combine literacy, creativity, and practical skills development.

Today, we had an exciting Tie and Dye session, giving young people a chance to learn a simple but valuable skill that can be transformed into an income-generating opportunity. These hands-on experiences help equip out-of-school youth with the confidence and skills needed to create their own opportunities.

A special thank you to Grace for wholeheartedly dedicating his time, knowledge, and passion to mentor and inspire our young people.

Your contribution is helping shape a brighter future for the next generation.
