AMYU is non-profit organization that brings together youth groups and individuals dedicated to empowering the youth for peace and socio-economic development. Key areas include: Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue, Peacebuilding, Preventing Violent Extremism, Education, among others. We achieve this through the maintenance of a network that links communities, youth groups and individuals. This connected organizational architecture allows AMYU to provide the youth of Uganda a common medium that facilitates communication, strengthens organization through the sharing of resources, and promotes outreach through collaborative initiatives.

Today, we are proud to launch Faith in Peace, a youth-led initiative by Allied Muslim Youth Uganda (AMYU) under the project Interfaith Youth Dialogues for Resilience Against Violent Extremism in Busoga Region.

Over the next 18 months, young people from Bugiri, Mayuge, Namayingo, and Mbale will come together to strengthen critical thinking, deepen interfaith understanding, and lead practical actions that promote peace and social cohesion.

We believe that when young people are equipped with knowledge, supportive networks, and opportunities to lead, they become one of the strongest defenses against hatred and violence.

If you are a young person, faith leader, educator, parent, or community member, we invite you to join this growing movement for peace.
