Forum for Women in Democracy Forum for Women in Democracy (FOWODE) is a women’s national non-partisan organisation established in 1995.

We advocate for gender equity and equality in the decision-making process. FOWODE grew out of the Women’s Caucus of the 1994-1995 Constituent Assembly which debated and passed the 1995 Constitution. FOWODE will continue to develop thought leaders and activists and will focus on three broad actions.
