Denise Foundation Uganda The Denise Foundation Uganda is a non-profit organisation supporting orphaned and vulnerable children, with a focus on education and health.

Denise Foundation Uganda is a nonprofit making organization founded by one of the former world vision sponsored child Ssemmanda Fred. It was as a result of the loss of his beloved sponsor Ms. Denise Robertson who took the lead of fundraising for his education, building of better shelter and became the mother and guardian Angel during the early days and tough times when they had no someone taking

care after they lost both of their parents due to HIV/AIDS and they don't have even a single relative. The Foundation is currently operating in the District of Rakai where the HIV/AIDS scourge greatly affected the children and their families, these communities in the District are living below the poverty line, most of them live below a dollar per day. Abject Poverty, poor shelter, illiteracy, early marriage for the girl child, school dropout, food insecurity, poor sanitation are the outstanding characteristics and true description of these communities. With the above, Denise foundation is coming out to slowly begin to manage the above effects of poverty and among others, we are currently focused on Orphans and other Vulnerable Children (OVCs) by making sure that they are in school and they enjoy learning by providing all what is required to stay in school.

Life in rural Uganda – and why your support matters

This beautiful lady grandmother to Lawrence and Eva welcomed us with the warmest smile, despite living each day with physical disability and very limited support.

In Uganda, access to medical care, mobility aids and even basic comfort is not guaranteed. Something as simple as a wheelchair can transform a life — restoring independence, dignity and hope.

These images are not shared to upset, but to show the reality for many families and to remind you why your kindness makes such a profound difference.

We are looking for a sponsor for our lovely Nestus. Nestus is 12 years old and is currently in primary four at St Eria Junior school.
He has been very lucky to have a sponsor but sadly circumstances change and we are now looking for someone to continue supporting him in his education. He's very passionate about his school and is doing very well. He's a lovely young boy who deserves a chance can you help? 💙 👦🏾🫶 🇺🇬

We have two children who are looking for sponsors the first is our lovely Peter Kato. Peter is such a lovely boy and really values his education. He was born on 11/3/2009. He is in Primary six this year in St. Andrews Mbiriizi Primary school, during his free time he likes playing football, when he grows up, he would like to be either a footballer or a policeman
